Night Blogging

Stumbled across this product. Absolutely hilarious that they are selling it off as having a benefit to those that blog at night.

Back from the break!

Hey everyone!
Welcome back. Hopefully, you had a nice long weekend.
I hit up the NAIAS today. Love those Audi's, Mercedes and VWs. Cadi CTS Coupe is so tight. The Ferrari model was hilarious and just so ridiculous.

I still know that I'd take a sexy car over any of the hybrids/electric vehicles right now though. I know it's a shame, but that's the truth.

BMW showed they were tech savvy with iPhones as lead gen tools.

Ford has some great interactive properties from 3D TV, remote control race car track, Sync/Best Buy demo and so on. Very impressed.

Enjoy the video and have a great evening.

Urbanization

A defining trend for 2010, 2011, 2012, and so on: urbanization on steroids. We'll let the numbers speak for themselves:

* "Less than 5 per cent of the world’s population lived in cities a century ago. In 2008, for the first time in humanity, that figure exceeded 50 per cent. In the last two decades alone, the urban population of the developing world has grown by an average of 3 million people per week.”
* “By 2050, it will have reached 70 per cent, representing 6.4 billion people. Most of this growth will be taking place in developing regions; Asia will host 63 percent of the global urban population, or 3.3 billion people in 2050.” (Source: the Global Report on Human Settlements 2009, October 2009.)

This is just what I need!

A great visual depicting the likelihood of various features on the upcoming Apple tablet. High-res hawtyness thanks to Geekologie.com. I'll pay money for this (or wait for Apple to send it to me to blog about for free so they gain valuable buzzzzzz).

Getting content

Basically, this vblog was a quick one, but tomorrow, we are going to go on field trip and talk about relative social media musts.

Shout out to BlackBerry for filling in valiantly when my Flip Vid went down (and it doesn't seem to be coming back).

Day 2 (Day 1 was a wash)

So, I wanted to start "vlogging" or start a vblog.
Here's the premise;
I spent the majority of my day yesterday updating my Linkedin profile and I thought, man, I haven't been active in about 5 hours. I could feel my stomach protruding and my butt enlarging.
So let's make this game of searching for a new career, networking and emailing more beneficial not only for me, but for you.

For every job applied to on Linkedin we do 25 pushups
For every new connection on Linkedin we do 25 situps
For every email/message we do 1 set of 25 pushups/25 situps
For every denial email in response to an application we do 3 sets of 25 pushups/3 sets of 25 situps. You should be punished for not getting the career of your dreams. You must try harder.
For every phone call you get from a Linkedin application we do 4o pushups/40 situps
If you signed up on Careerbuilder first and you get those spam emails that someone saw your resume and it fits what they are looking for you must immediately get up and do 5 jumping jacks, 5 pushups and 5 situps. Note: I got 5 today...so annoying. CB went down hill fast.

Video coming soon as to why you should call me "The Challenge" here on out.

Shout outs to all my peeps for your support.
